This aluminum novelty license plate carries the Tailyour crest and tartan, with the motto "In Cruce Salus" - "Salvation in the Cross."
Tailyour is an old Scottish spelling of Taylor, an occupational surname for a tailor, historically associated with the Tailyour family of Borrowfield near Montrose in Angus.
It's made from solid 100% aluminum with a silver back and bright white printed face, in the standard 12" x 6" (30.5 x 15.2 cm) size with pre-drilled mounting holes; hardware is not included, and the plate is decorative rather than road-legal.
It fits a car, truck, or garage wall, and makes a fitting gift for a Tailyour or Taylor relative curious about the older spelling of the name.
